2 of My Best Practices for Navigation from my Browser: Fast Dial and keyword

Hmmmm, what are my best practices for efficiency in using my browser to navigate and to quickly do the things that I do, on a daily basis?  Here are two of my best practices:
  • I use Fast Dial (pre-loaded with thumbnails of my most commonly accessed pages) as my "about:blank" page. FastDial is an Add-On that implements a feature that is like Opera's Speed Dial feature.
  • If an item (web page) that I want is not amongst the thumbnails in Fast Dial, I use "keyword" to jump to the page that I want to go to.  In Firefox and with Flock (with a tweak), I have pre-assigned a keyword to my favorite pages. This keyword can then be typed in the browsers Location / URL bar, and the browser quickly looks up to see if that word is previously defined, and if so, jumps to that favorite/bookmarked page.

To organize and use keywords, check out the Mozilla browser Add-On called KeywordBar.
